These both are good. I really like the Ryzen 5 or 7 because they have excellent power, but the heat and battery drain are modest.

I have used a Ryzen 7 5700 for a year in an ideapad 5.

I’d probably take the AMD model, same thread count however it’s 4 p cores with ht vs 2 with ht and 4 e cores.

What’s the storage on each.

Performance on either isn’t particularly great. They are both quite close to each other. Just Intel has the better single threading, where as the Ryzen has the better multi core and battery life due to using full cores and a better node. (TSMC 7nm vs Intel 10nm rebranded to Intel 7)

If you’re just watching movies and typing word documents and will be near a wall socket within 5 hours. Both are suitable. Knowing more about your use case would be wise

Same thing tbf, the AMD model has better battery life but you can’t expand the ram

I thought abut laptops today. And Ryzen5 5500U has better integrated GPU than 7520U
