It’s $1477 with 64gb of ram and 1tb of storage. I’m new to this stuff so is this too good or what?

    The hardware is current so the price isn’t outrageous. However, Amazon prices for high ticket items often command a higher seller fee which means that often gets passed onto the customer (hence, the $1,477 price). You can probably find something similar on HP’s direct website or on Newegg for less (and considering it’s Black Friday & Cyber Monday).

    This seems likely just a good holiday deal. One blog suggested for people getting into video editing recommend an ENVY 17 inch FHD +with an i7 version 12 and Intel Arc GPU and a 400 nit screen. It was around 1,400. So, your price seems in line.
