It’s been like this for a few hours now and my laptop is literally brand new idk what to do ( didn’t mean to rhyme but you get the point(

    If its new, return it. Don’t try to open it because you might lose your warranty that way. Just return it and ask for money back.

    If it is within warranty you can take it to the place you bought it. They will either fix (if is a minor issue) or you will be able to claim warranty (if the device is a faulty one)
