I think I’m probably one of the few windows users that has old apple nostalgia but I was more attached to an apple IIe as a kid.

Idk makes me think I should do some PC upgrades soon as what goes in this little rig is far beyond what I’m working with currently.

PCs are modular and I can diy them which is why they’re my preference. But I do like apple hardware. The classic iPod was fantastic, and I had a lot of fun later on with different OSes for it. I think it would be an even better mini PC form factor.

It’s cute, I guess? The price is not terrible, but nothing special either.

Even at retail prices, you could get a little screen for this for $20 or so (and then rotated the ports/orientation, so you could use it standing up).

Would have made the design a lot funner.

The layout changes required to let you insert SD cards in the floppy disk slot would probably have been too awkward… but that would have been great. Anyway, I like these little mini-PCs. Would be cool if it got to the point where things were standard enough that you could pick your “case” and “guts” separately and mix/match a bit.

Why can’t we have the guts of a laptop in a slightly smaller footprint and a little cheaper due to no keyboard or screen. The size of gaming PCs are as bad as the price.
