Just got my 64GB SteamDeck yesterday and installing games and updates was painful. Is this a good drive to upgrade with? I have the ifixit shims and ESD cover already on hand, ready to go.

Those prices seem high? Are those USD? If so, I’d wait for a sale until 1TB/2TB is closer to $60/140

Yes. But sometimes you can find a micron 2 TB SSD for like 140 - 150 $ so this would be my choice (actually it was my choice few month ago and I’m really happy with it).

I have this same ssd in my deck. Works perfectly. Of your doing this yourself just know that after reinstalling steam is the gamepad won’t work until it installs updates. I didn’t know this and it scared the shit out of me because the steam deck was the most complex thing I had modded

It’s what I currently have. It’s great but fills up fast. Right now Amazon has 2tb micron for $140. More than worth it
