So i was using my grandmas laptop for a while it has a windows software update which said it was critcal. I started it and came back to this, the issue is still persisting in bios and it is not going away, will it take more time? do i revert back to older windows? please help.

    Since its Grandma’s Vibed Laptop its gonna stay like that and its Hardware issue not Software issue. Its called Screen Bleeding. And what this laptop has is SEVEREE SCREEN BLEEDING!!!

    Smack the lid softly a few times, and wobble it softly on the flex sides of the display edges.

    If it doesn’t go away or gets worst, then see if the computer is still under warranty and HP will fix it in about a month (since their standard warranties are garbage for consumer laptops).

    If it’s out of warranty, replace the computer if you’re not going to connect it to another monitor, and don’t want to deal with the hazy lines.
