Switched from a base 13 to a 15 Pro and I love it. I wouldn’t say the phone is very different but the changes are very welcome and it’s fun to use it.

It’s not like going from, say an 8 to an X, but it’s still an upgrade. If you can afford it and want a new phone I’d go for it.
