Guys I need help.

I wanted to buy the new Steam Deck OLED 1TB model but steam doesent let me.
It just tells me i need to join the waiting list but doesent tell me how.
With the 512gb model it lets me buy it like its suposed to.

I have searched around a bit and everywhere it says i have to “buy” it to get on the waiting list but the button is not working.

    Your version is probably back ordered already. The waitlist is what they did the first time around.

    It’s so fucking annoying that this doesn’t work like it’s supposed to, I had to wait but was literally about to buy but now can’t even join this stupid waitlist.

    Yep, I’m in the same position in the UK. No ‘Buy’ button on the basket / checkout screen, no option to be added to a wait list, no way to join a wait list prior to adding the Deck to my basket! Also if I ‘wishlist’ it I get the OG Steam deck added.

    Grrr!

      Same here in the UK. I’m just unsure whether it’s a glitch and to hold on, as it was sold out before until they updated it from 3-5 to 6-10 days shipping.

            Got a couple of responses - none very helpful (try clearing basket / try another browser / client).

            BUT…just been back into the store and managed to ‘purchase now’ as the button isn’t greyed out – there is a note around delivery delays due to high volumes though.

            we’ll see…
