    Who cares about RCS? It’s literally just internet chat messaging - so “standardized online chat”. It requires data, like all other internet based chat. SMS goes off the cell network. So when I’m in a shitty location that doesn’t have data, I can still use sms.

      I mean I would imagine that you would just default to SMS in weak locations lol. im pretty sure iPhones already do that
