I have basically narrowed my search down to either the RT2 or Supernote. I am curious about a specific scenario that I use all day long.

I use an 8x11.5 legal pad for meeting notes, detailed notes etc. AND always have a small notepad that is used 100% for a task list. I constantly jump back and forth between the two since they serve different purposes.

I want to continue that strategy because it works really well for me. What is the process for quickly toggling between 2 notebooks with the two tablets I’m considering?

The swipe gesture works for switching back and forth, but personally I find it’s a bit too slow if you’re jumping back and forth a lot.

If possible for your workflow, I’d recommend writing everything in one document and then cut/pasting the relevant parts to the secondary notebook after the meeting. The lasso tool works great for this and it’s a huge upgrade from a paper based workflow IMO

You will need to get used to that as switching will take something between 3-5 seconds. You will notice that it won’t be as convenient like using two separate notebooks where you can switch instantly.

This however will not be an issue specific for the remarkable but is a result of merging two physical objects into one. Same as it will never be the same if you compare using to screens or one screen with two tabs which you will have to switch.

Ideally there would be a left/right swipe to switch between the last two opened notebooks (similar to swiping across the bottom of an iPhone to switch apps).

I wasn’t expecting it to be that seamless, but the swipe down + click sounds workable.

I placed my order this morning. I hope it arrives before holiday backorders start to slow order processing down.
