OK so I’ve had my hp laptop for about 4-5 years and whilst I’ve been listening to a podcast on Spotify some other buttons have given out as in when push nothing comes up on the search bar like I didn’t even press it. Now I looked up the avg life span of a laptop nd it said 4-5 yrs and I have gotten my moneys worth as I use it every day. So is it starting to die on me or is possible broken ( no doesn’t need cleaning already tried it and no I have dropped/spilled anything on it) (broken kets: z,x,c,v,m,down arrow, space bar and maybe alt but idk bout that)

I would not consider this machine done just because the keyboard is broken. It may require a replacement, but that should not cost too much, depending on the model. I would recommend you take your machine to a trustworthy repair shop to get an estimate and diagnosis. I would say it is time to replace the machine when it no longer does the things you need it to do without getting in your way or being an issue. If you can still do the things you want it to do, I think you should stick to it a bit longer.
