You heard it right, being an S21 (Exynos) user, Thermal Guardian absolutely f*cked my phone’s fluidity. It doesn’t matter whether you set it to +2°C or -2°C, or enable/disable any sort of advanced settings. After uninstalling Thermal Guardian and doing a Wipe Cache + Repair Apps from recovery menu, my phone is currently flying except scrolling in some apps with lots of content such as Reddit, Spotify or Twitter (that’s still a bummer, I’m using a flagship of 2021). And I’ve realized this so late I currently hate Samsung, find their phones unreliable af and don’t know my phone will still lag after a while, or even if I had an S23. I especially wonder if SD8G2 suffers from same fluidity issues, regardless if the module is installed or not.

My current suggestion if you’re experiencing the same issues and have the same module installed is to immediately uninstall it and do a wipe cache + maybe repair apps too.

Your issue is Exynos, I’ve used thermal guardian on all of my devices since its release, and not a single issue, however; I could see Memory Guardian causing issues, try disabling that.
