Anyone Black ops 3 keeps crashing whenever I try going into a map on zombies it crashes in the middle of a cut screen does this for every map

Doesn’t work on proton
I just get a black screen when booting the game
This is an ongoing issue that started in September, some people are aware but I’m not sure anyone from Valve is. From what I have gathered there was a mess driver update that broke this game and there is no fix currently other than installing the boiii client.
