I’ve been waiting for the update since November 13th, I check about 4 times a day if there’s an update, there isn’t, I can’t stand it without the update (I have an A54 and I’m from Portugal) Do you have any idea when it might come? I’m absurdly anxious🐱

    WOW, you really don’t follow the news do you?

    They have not finished rolling out the 23 series. After that, 5 series, then 22,21 4 series etc. You are somewhere in the end. Could take a while.

    That list you’ve seen / heard of or whatever has been fake. I’ve been doing that since Nov. 13th as well but that date list is gone now so I think it was fake.

    I know how you’re feeling. I was feeling the same with my Samsung galaxy s23 ultra. Social media and posts about the update are everywhere to drive up the hype. After downloading the update, I can confirm that the changes are minimal and you might not notice them much in a day to day usage. Hopefully, it won’t take long for your phone to receive the update.

    Your first phone?

    Let me help you manage your expectation: Expect to see almost NO changes after the update. You will have to dig very hard to find any changes. Your phone won’t become faster, it won’t start projecting holograms, it won’t do anything new.

    You will be wondering - I just updated the phone! why don’t I see any differences? Then you will go to the settings page, check the Software version number, and be shocked to see that that’s the only difference that you’ve seen so far.

    Next you’ll start hallucinating that your phone is either faster, or slower, or has some problem when in fact, there is no difference.

    The above has been true for at least 10 years, and will continue to be so.
