Need help with my steam deck, the fan has been going haywire for about a week now, and steam support hasn’t been able to help me as of yet. I have been playing baldurs gate 3 on the lowest settings and it was working fine until out of the blue the fan would cut off for a few seconds then come back on and repeat this over and over until the deck overheats and shuts itself off.

I have the decky fantastic installed and on but it’s not helping. I also have the updated fan control turned off. The fan issue is also present when not in game as well, tho on the steam home page it’s not in danger of overheating, but the fan still turns on and off on repeat.

Has my deck just had enough and I will need to replace it or is there a way to fix it?
