Wondering what people’s suggestions would be should I get the current gen i7 or last gen i9?

Primarly use my pc for gaming a bit of video editing + work but when I upgrade my pc again in hopefully 5+ years I put the CPU, motherboard and memory into my home server that I use for my lab.

i9 is £460 i7 is £420

    I would go the 13900k seems they have better memory controlers so far so you could go with 7200mhz memory and not have to worry about XMP working.

      I just did this last weekend and it’s great! I upgraded a 3770 so it’s a pretty big update for me. :D
