Today, I want to share a frustrating experience I had at the official Samsung repair store in Guangzhou while trying to change the inner screen protector of my Fold 4.
So, I noticed the crease on my Fold 4 becoming more prominent and decided to do the responsible thing by taking it to the official store for a professional fix. Little did I know that this decision would turn my fully functional phone into a tablet-only device. 😔
Right after getting the screen protector changed, my phone started shutting down every time I opened or closed it. This was a completely new issue that never occurred before. 🤔 I returned to the Samsung repair shop, but they denied any connection between the screen change and the sudden shutdowns.
Now, here’s where it gets frustrating. The shop claims they can’t guarantee my phone was in perfect working condition before the screen change, essentially implying I’m not being truthful. 😠 I’ve opened a ticket with their hotline, but I’m left with a €1400 phone that’s practically useless in phone mode.
Has anyone else faced a similar issue or had trouble with Samsung customer service? I’m debating if this is a regional problem or a wider concern. Also, any suggestions on how to navigate this situation would be greatly appreciated. 🙏
