I have a hard briefcase that I put my LCD case in that fits just right. Are the dimensions of the full OLED case the same? I know there is the inner removable portion but I like to use the outer pocket for keeping some accessories bundled so I would like to pack both parts if possible.

Physical dimensions are 100% the same. Your old accessories will fit on the new one. The screen is larger because they were able to shrink the bezels.
