I’m not familiar with phone specs and how much they actually matter on the day-to-day, so I’m having a hard time comparing phones and deciding what is actually a large enough “upgrade” to justify my purchase.

I purchased the S20FE when I switched phone providers two years ago, and I’m looking for an upgrade. I chose this one due to budget limitations at the time, but I was happy with it considering the price I paid. However it’s slowed down quite a bit, and has one large crack in the screen and multiple smaller scuffs around the back.

I’ve been looking between the S23 models, and originally was going to purchase an FE since the price is so good. I was told that this would be a miniscule upgrade compared to what I have, so it’s not worth the money. However, I don’t like that the S23 standard model is a 6.1 inch display (smaller than my curent phone) and it feels like the S23+ is a huge cost increase just to get a larger size. I’m willing to pay if it’s really that much better of an upgrade, but again, I’m having a hard time understanding if the difference will be noticeable.

Can someone help me decide which model, if any, is worth the upgrade to?

Between 20fe and 23fe is not a minuscule upgrade you have a considerable upgrade. If you want to stay in the same price bracket that’s what you’re going to get. If you want a proper upgrade from your current 20fe the 23+ is going to be your best bet. specially now during Black Friday or after s24 releases. I mentioned in a different thread that the s23+ is currently going for $749.99 at the Sammy shop app minus $200.00 for your 20fe trade in, you’re looking at $550.00
