I know it might not be as fancy as what other people are using them for. But as a maths teacher I’m finding it so helpful, especially when sketching graphs.

If you have got the update, it’s not super obvious how you use the feature initially.

You have to draw a roughly straight line, but instead of lifting the marker you keep it held down. After a half-second or so it will convert to a straight line starting from when you began the line, and you can move the end of the line around for as long as you hold the marker down. Once you lift the marker it will draw the line.

I mention it because I skipped the release notes and was looking everywhere for a new pen or option and couldn’t see it.

Another caveat is that it doesn’t work for all pens - the ballpoint, marker and fineliner work, but the paintbrush and calligraphy pen doesn’t as far as I can tell (not tested the pencils)

Pencil works! Just opened up mine and the update was there. This is cool, I’m a surveyor and have been using this as my field book, this is gonna help me out to get lines down and dimensioned faster.

It also seems to “snap” to 0 degrees and 90 degrees, which is nice.

I only got the update today and I’ll now start exploring how it works in detail.
