I want to buy my mom a new phone for Christmas. She has an A20 that she got in 2019.
She uses tracfone. She mostly calls and texts, and uses FB messenger to talk to me (I live in a different country). She occasionally watches a YouTube video or uses Google Maps if she gets lost. She’s retired, so battery life isn’t a big deal. She can charge her phone whenever.
The A54 is $299 through tracfone. I saw the 23 FE on sale for $399.
If I were buying for myself, I’d get the FE. However I don’t think she’ll notice the difference.
I’d like to get something that’ll last 5 years.
Get the s21+ for 300-350 used and you’ll that you did. I bought the a54 and returned it and then bought thr s21+ because it’s a better phone and less cost
