Load one up with only emulators and smaller games, make the other your AAA dream machine. I miss my deck.

I would use it as a linux pc. I think you can change the settings so that it boots up on desktop mode instead of gaming mode every time. Lots of stuff you can do with a portable handheld PC.

I have a LCD with the anti-glare screen. Opted for the OLED with a regular screen.

I’m going to tell my wife she can use the LCD, but it’ll be the one I take with me on trips. The OLED will be the daily driver.

I thought about that but there’s no real elegant way of moving save states for when you wanna jam on the go and vice versa.

    Home and Plex server.

The deck is a low power device, you could use it as a server by making a syncthings folder to your other devices (home cooked cloud) and it had more, more than enough power to be a excellent jellyfin (open source plex) server

Since this is a PC, I presume you can switch the OS version and install Home Assistant on it, and use the display as a way to interract with your Home Automation setup. And I can only imagine that you can use the APU to run some object detection on your webcam streams.

I presume you can also install Proxmox and use it to run a bunch of containers and VMs on top of it, as it is quite capable. You can install Plex, Nextcloud, etc. on it. And you can use the docking station to get it connected through a LAN cable.
