As long as real humans in human bodies go to space I think we should be working to provide for real dogs in space. I’m all for robots, ai, everything - I’m a futurist. But if I’m flesh and blood and hurling through space for years? I want a living breathing dog with me if at all possible. Of course I’ll take the robot dog if that’s all there is but it should be possible to have a real one. We should include that starting now I think.
