So do you always put your subwoofer down next (left or right side) to the soundbar? Or can you have your subwoofer a little further away or against another wall?

So do you always put your subwoofer down next (left or right side) to the soundbar? Or can you have your subwoofer a little further away or against another wall?

I put mine wherever it fits best and is out of the way. One is on the floor to the right of the home theater and the other is on the floor to the left of the soundbar. Low frequency sounds are less directional than higher ones, so placement isn’t as critical as the speakers are.
