Just curious, because personally I bought it mostly with a hope that I will start playing games again and I’m overthinking if it will be what I needed.

Lately (for 2 years) feeling kinda depressed and not really playing games, finished one title (Disco Elysium) in this time. I have some backlog at steam but I’m thinking if I’ll even use the deck…

I just think the ability to have a hand held PC console like this and pair it with a pair of glasses that projects a 120” screen in front of your face is such an exciting proposition. I’ll have to wait to order the OLED version as I’m away for a month. Wish I had ordered one sooner.

Mine is the non oled but I don’t even use the screen, the screen turns off when the glasses are plugged in.

I’ve never used it without the glasses so I don’t know. I am getting 4 hours playing civ 5. The battery has never run out, still showing 10%.

4 hours is still very good. The more I read reviews on all the latest handheld gaming devices, I think the OLED SD is the one I’ll end up buying. It just seems the best all rounder for what I need.
