I am very into first person shooters. I have always loved games such as Halo, Call of Duty, and Battlefield. And playing on my main pc, I am a pretty competent player. I like to say I can really help carry the team to victory. But on my steam deck i totally suck at shooters like Halo. I was averaging 0-2 kills on my steam deck tonight, whereas last time I played Halo on my pc I was averaging close to 30 kills a game. Anyone else feel like the steam deck is hurting their performance?
It’s all up to what you’re used to.
I was very good in PC shooter until I switched to console. Took me some months to get to a 1.0 k/d, and after some years I got pretty good again.
Switched back to PC 6 months ago, most of my skill with kb/m is now gone. I’m too old to want to improve so I get used to being a noob. But that’s okay
