I am very into first person shooters. I have always loved games such as Halo, Call of Duty, and Battlefield. And playing on my main pc, I am a pretty competent player. I like to say I can really help carry the team to victory. But on my steam deck i totally suck at shooters like Halo. I was averaging 0-2 kills on my steam deck tonight, whereas last time I played Halo on my pc I was averaging close to 30 kills a game. Anyone else feel like the steam deck is hurting their performance?
Just look for gyro aiming, it’s a night and day difference from just using the analog stick
I’ve used the gyro aiming, but so far, I have yet to actually get it set up where I can accurately use it. Maybe I just need more practice. But it feels either far too sensitive or far too sluggish in an actual match. I’m still trying to find that sweet spot.
