I have a 1 tb spare not doing anything . Are they safe to use?

I don’t mind using it if it poops out in a year or something but I don’t want to damage my deck is my biggest concern with it

I would avoid that brand like the plague; not sure on their SSDs but they managed to fry one of my RAM slots (as in charred and almost started a fire) in my main desktop a year or so ago.

My 1tb died after applying the latest update. Rebooted, drive not found. Verified the drive was dead in an external enclosure, replaced with my original 256gig. Was working perfectly fine since June.

Trying to get a warranty replacement, but they need to restock in Canada before they can action anything, 2 week estimate by them (ordered through Amazon.ca)
