Hi all,

I was looking to buy the oled 512gb. It works out as €569.

I own a ps5 ,oculus and a gaming PC. The sheer convenience and what I have read about the deck is tempting.

My ideal use case for the deck is to use it in the living room, bed, long haul flight’s. I’m a software developer so the last thing I want to be doing is sitting in my office gaming where I work. Nearly 600 euro is a ton of money, I just wanted to get people thoughts. I’m not a massive AAA gamer. I wanted to get the odin 2, but the unknowns with shopping charges to the EU is pushing me ore towards the deck.

My question is for people that own the lcd abd oled, is there any regret when buying the deck?

Also. Has anyone tried running Pro wrestling sim on the steam deck?

Thanks

Got an LCD deck, upgrading to the OLED if that tells you anything. :)

Edit: my biggest complaint with the the Steam Deck was the LCD display and battery life. The OLED is exactly what I’ve been wanting.

Are you my evil twin? Or am I your evil twin? /s

I was basically in the same situation: I was tempted by the Odin2 but then I saw reports that PS2 runtime on Deck OLED was around 7/8 hours, which meant that my primary concern (battery) was addressed so I pulled the trigger on the Deck OLED.

If Android gaming was better supported, I would have gone for Odin2 but Android gaming is a bit of a mess so I might as well get the full platform.
