I have a 512GB deck and I was thinking of getting a 1TB microSD card to store and launch my games from. Would it be wiser to get a 1TB SSD instead?

I don’t feel space-limited by 512gb internal and 1tb SD. Realistically I would rather install less games to hone in my focus on actually playing the games rather than creating a portable library of dusty games that I scroll through and never play

I upgraded my 64gb Deck to 1tb and i’m sure I’ll be fine since that’s what I had on my desktop and I made it work. I only download stuff I’m likely to play and what I hope to play next.

I booted up my deck the other day and my 1TB micro SD card no longer reads. I’m guessing it got too warm? Completely bricked, won’t even show up on other devices.

Buy a SSD, check! Install and bog the Internet all day long filling it up, check!

Knowing you’re always going to use one main game, priceless!
