I recently just picked back up my steam deck after having not used it for a while and have totally forgotten my Sudo password. I’ve tried every last one of the passwords I used n I must’ve set a different one like an idiot or something Cus I can’t get it for the life of me. I don’t have a flash drive and I’m unwilling to factory reset my deck, surely there’s a simpler way to reset the Sudo password than this? If anyone can at least point me in the right direction that’d be awesome

You are SOL I’m afraid.
You will be fine. Search this sub for sudo reset. It is not hard at all. A bios command at boot time and you are root. Simple passwd command after that. Let me know if you can’t find it and I will look again.
