Like all the controls, you can configure many options for how the trackpad works, both per game and in Desktop Mode. Try setting it As Mouse, with Haptic Intensity to Low. I also recommend increasing the Trackpad Click press threshold to 9000 or higher, so it’s harder to accidentally click.
