I just want to gather info from as many people as possible on this topic.

What are some games (Besides some of the obvious) that should ALWAYS be installed on SSD?

And…

What are some games that run perfectly fine off of the SDCard?

At what point does emulation start requiring games being installed on the SSD? PS2 era? Are PS1 games perfectly fine to store on an SDCard? (I assume everything pre-PS1 will be fine off of SDCard.)

Just installed 1tb SSD and 1tb SDCard and I’m looking for guidance on what to install where.

Thanks for any input!

Edit: Also it’d also be cool if others had questions about certain games, to see what others recommend for said game. The more info we have about installing games the better.

Honestly, i went the 2tb ssd round. For a couple of reasons:

    1. I dont have to think to myself ‘should i install this game on the ssd or the sd card?’
    2. As i open my deck a lot i could see myself forgetting to take the sd card out and snapping it
    3. I wanna have the speeds of an ssd. All in all i recommend you go the ssd route. Games require fast storage now, and you dont have to worry about what games you put on the ssd and what you put on the sd.
