I got myself an M1 Mac. Pretty amazing machine but unfortunately I find the OS is quite difficult to use. I find it less intuitive than windows. Also I’m super interested in the 2 in 1 laptops which can be used as a tab and also a laptop with a detachable keyboard. So I’m just wondering if there’s anything in the windows world that can replace the M1 Mac without being ultra expensive? I’m don’t game and stuff I mostly type my notes, read PDFs, browse the web and watch videos. So a portable 2 in 1 that I could carry around everywhere would be a game changer. I saw a few HP laptops but they all don’t seem to be the best when it comes to battery life.

Battery life is going to be a struggle on Windows based machines unfortunately. But with Windows machines not everything is soldered onto the motherboard as Apple does (RAM, storage, wifi chip).

2in1s and detachables aren’t going to be able stuff the largest possible batteries inside due to trying to be also ultralight.

Since performance isn’t a big thing, you should be able to getaway with using this thing.

Next step ups in sizes are the 13" laptops and 14" laptops. But get the models with 16-32GB RAM if you can.
