So I was curious if there’s any way to Set your phone to have a specific MAC address. I know you can randomize it or use the phone’s default one…

My reasonings may seem odd but I just bought a ps five and It won’t let me authenticate my xfinity account. I had the same issue on my Xbox, but bypassed it by using my phone’s MAC address on my xbox. That was already authenticated. However on the playstation You can’t Change the mac address so I was thinking if I Set my phone to the playstation’s mac and then authenticate it should work

I’m confused on what you’re trying to authenticate? Is it like when trying to use HBO, Showtime, etc and you need to use your cable provider to sign into the app?

MACs are hardcoded. Each NIC has a unique MAC. There are of course ways to spoof MACs. But generally you can’t change it.

Yes exactly like that! Is there anyway I can spoof my phone to match my ps5 Mac. So I can authenticate it then switch phone back to normal and ps5s MAC would be authenticated at that point. Worked on my xbox so should work here
