So my Galaxy A53 was already restarting itself on random occasions. Very annoying, but after a restart I could use it for a few hours before it happened again. This morning I woke up and the phone was restarted again. I unlocked my sim card and then my phone, but after a minute it restarted agian. And now this keeps happening.

I can’t do anything on my phone because litterally after a minute, it restarts. If I don’t unlock it, it doesn;t restart. So it looks like there’s something wrong in the process when the phone starts everything after unlocking it for the first time after restarting.

I don’t want to try a hard factory reset yet, because I dont have a online back-up for my camera roll . And I can’t make this backup, because after a minute the phone restarts.

Someone knows how to fix this?

When I had an A53 it kept doing the same thing. I think it’s an issue with ram and how it runs out and instead of automatically closing old apps it just crashes. I believe that when you restart a phone, once you unlock it it tries to restore all your previous app sessions so that if you wanted to access them it’s quick and easy, unfortunately this means that it chews the ram again.

If you go to the developer options you can lower or turn off background processes or make it destroy the activity when you leave it. I discovered this after I had gotten rid of the A53, so not 100% sure if it will work.
