Has anyone discussed the Legion Go’s ability to update? Once windows moves to the next version, what will happen?

One of my favorite things about the Steam ecosystem is the frequency of OS updates. Sometimes frustrating, but always welcome. It shows the dev’s are still actively trying to make things better.

My wondering is thus: will the Go stay up to date as the programming changes as readily as the Deck does?

Huh ? What are you talking about Windows 12 ?

Even if they release 12 tomorrow there will still be support for 11 and it would still work as usual anyway, hell some people still use Windows XP

No interest in the GO but I did wonder what will/would happen if Lenovo runs out of tablets.

The Legion Go like all Windows handheld are basically laptops in a gaming handheld form factor. You can install any OS on it and as long as Microsoft continues to support Zen 4 chips down the road, you can upgrade the underlying OS.

Now, what’s not known is how long Lenovo is going to support Legion Space and if they’d offer drivers for newer versions of Windows down the road, especially if the new OS requires new drivers if Microsoft decides to change to a newer driver model or what not like they did with Vista for instance.
