Just got the latest update on my S23 Ultra on AT&Ts network. Before this update didn’t really think about my phone’s battery but now it feels like it’s dropping like a stone.

Is anyone else having this issue?

One UI version 6.0

Android version 14

Build Number UP1A.231005.007.S918USQU1BWK4

This is a major system update, it needs recalibration again. Give it a few days and battery will improve, even more so than it was on Android 13.

Happened to me for 3 days after upgrading and now battery life is even better than my 14 Pro Max.

Were you able to view your battery usage history from the past several days after the update? If no, it has to re-learn due to cache being deleted after the update. Samsung made new adjustment to the SOT algorithm and removed the SOT since last charge on One UI 6.

I’ve only had the S23U for 1 month and battery life was simply incredible!

I installed the OneUI 6.0 Update last week followed by the November patch right after and notice the difference immediately! I’m glad I’m not the only one.

Hopefully that’s the issue but as far as I know there is no way of knowing it has to relearn. And I don’t remember it’s initial learning period causing this much battery drain. My battery life has been pretty much cut in half and that’s with power saving functions on post update.

Nothing to see here, move long. Perfectly normal.

(Cache rebuild, battery charge/discharge patterns have to be learned, as well as user patterns).

After November 1st Update, my battery life decreased as well. Same usage as usual, almost double less screen on time

Wipe cache via samsung recovery menu. (you need a PC to connect to via USB in order to enter recovery with the correct buttons pressed during startup from a cold boot) This did the trick for me.
