Im curious if the issue with removing the Micro SD do it doesnt break in half is still present in the new OLED?

OP did you have and SD card that you were using as well (perhaps for emulation station like I do) and did it remount OK?
not OP, but I transferred my 2tb from my LCD to the 512 Oled, and everything including emulated games still all work
Maybe a rubber band instead. Protects the coating, and also increases the grip. It’s what you can do with a stripped screw as well.
I thought one of the upgrades in the OLES was the metal screw threads? Did I dream that?

Use a rubber band! It also makes stripped screws unscrew.

Also - did the exclusive startup animation + keyboard carry over to the 2 TB ssd? I’m assuming it’s tied into your account but only if you first logged on to the OLED Deck with it’s original SSD.
just use the right size driver and you will see little issues
