I want to buy the new 512 gb steamdeck oled, mostly just to play tf2. I saw that theres a new 90hz screen and was interested in understanding the performance before I buy.

TF2 was one of the games I was most excited to play when I got my deck but it doesn’t run as well as I’d hoped. Not to say it’s unplayable by any means but I couldn’t even get it to run at a smooth 60fps so I ended up capping it at 45. If anyone has any tips to get it running better I’m all ears.
Why would u buy a steam deck, it will be collecting dust after a week and its extremely overpriced. Your better off going the extra mile to build ur own computer.
