read about NASA talking about a solar storm that may hit causing the world’s internet to go down for months to even years, and it got me thinking, obviously video games would be the least of our problems but would you be happy with the current games installed on deck/PC?
My biggest thing I miss about consoles since converting to PC & steamdeck is the fact physical games aren’t a thing, digital games are convenient but with internet being down really big con, so in this scenario, if you do have console, physical games don’t count? Or at least limited to just what’s currently installed.
Anyways, I have a few western RPGs installed (baulder gate 3, divinity 2), a roguelike (hades), and a few action games, 1 open world game (rdr2, although, it’s dumb in PC need an internet connect just to play single player, definitely a life saver on console when internet is down in a regular senario). some mindless games that you can’t really “beat”. So I think I’d be ok.
