yo this is low key one of my favorite things about my new oled model. i no longer struggle with reliable diagonal inputs. trying to play super metroid or axiom verge with the dpad was annoying as shit because diagonal inputs sucked so hard. have been having no issues with them on my new oled model. not sure what they changed but it made a world of difference for me

Interesting never encounter any issue with the dpad on my lcd model
I feel like I am really shit at video games when people complain about dpad diagonals, or input lag on the first steamdeck. I’ve had it for many months now and never noticed anything wrong with it lmao
So nice to hear, had to adjust to it playing Mario Wonder and Hollow Knight. I heard RB and LB are a bit nicer too
Random question, is the Steam Profile Bundle that comes with the new ones the same as what came with the old 512gb?
I wonder if they started using something like this.
Really glad i avoided the dpad mod for the lcd version those oem dpads were absolute nightmares imagine playing fighting games with the lcd version dpad
My main problem was how slimey and membraney the dpad felt but then again i came from the Xbox hybrid dpad so my bias is somewhat weighty
I just hope the oled dpad actually feels like a dependable not so wiggly alien dpad
