So I know currently I can’t play destiny on steam OS (hopefully they fix that but I’m not holding my breath). Is it pretty easy to just install windows and dual boot? Does it just ask when you turn the deck on which OS you want to use? I’d only use windows because of destiny and I’d assume steam OS for everything else.

Also, can I install moonlight or a streaming method to stream Destiny from my PC to the steam OS install? I have an Nvidia card so maybe something with GeForce streaming.

I don’t have a deck yet but I’m interested, I was looking at the Ally but the battery life for me is not acceptable yet on that device. The new OLED improvements do catch my attention however.

To be fair the built in option to stream the game from my pc works really well. Might be down to my internet stability but it works flawlessly for me. Also works really well when docked to my TV

So obviously your pc will have to be on. Then go to library on steam deck and find Destiny 2 for example. Where the launch/install button is, there will be a little arrow next to the button and you can select “stream” instead of “install”. Click stream and it will just load up and play on the deck!
