Verizon trade-in offer: Up to $800 off when you upgrade to S23 models
Shop Samsung app: 25% off S23 models, plus $25 off if it’s your first app purchase. You can also trade in for a max of $600, and that’s probably only the newest phones.
Here’s the best part: You can buy in the Samsung app and finance/trade-in via Verizon, AND it still applies both of the app discounts.
I just bought an S23+, financed through Verizon, traded in my S10+ for $800 (Samsung only offered $200).
$999 S23+
$749 in Samsung app
$724 after $25 off
Financed 36 mo. via Verizon
$800 credit over 36 mo.
They’re paying me to upgrade.
Had to pay taxes and Verizon’s bogus $35 “upgrade fee” but still essentially jumping from S10+ to S23+ for free.
EDIT: Forgot to mention, if you upgrade straight through Verizon, you have to switch to one of their new Unlimited plans. During checkout via Samsung, the only option was to keep my current plan (which I prefer). So it’s apparently also a way to avoid the forced plan change.
Ive been looking at the shop app and there’s no option for mobile devices anywhere. I’m pretty confused

Yeah dude, your service is gonna be worth it to them cause you’ll probably pay 80 bucks a month for the premium tier. They still win, you’re just losing less

Did you find out that you get the $800 Verizon credit at checkout?
