I have been using the S21+ Exynos for over 2 years now and I have to get the display replaced, might as well get the battery replaced too (i hardly touch 3-4 hrs SoT). All of these are gonna cost me about 20k INR. Should I get this phone repaired or should I just upgrade to the base S23?
P.s: The reason I’m considering upgrading is mainly due to the heating issues in the S21 series. This device gets hot on the lightest of usage and stays warm to the touch for most of the standby time too ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ
For what it’s worth the s24 should be coming out soonish if you can wait.
Depending on where you are, the upcoming S24 series will return to the Exynos fold. And if Samsung still does not resolve the riddle of the thermals, there’s a risk you may still get the same issue.
Better get the S23.
Yes
Absolutely
No. Get the S23+
Anything S10 and newer is absolutely worth fixing and continuing to use long term. A new phone is going to cost you significantly more than 20k INR.
With Samsung cheating on processors and benchmark tests you’re better off switching from overpriced overrated Samsung
