Grounded is flawless on Deck. I heard The Long Dark was great as well.

Green Hell is tedious because of the mouse-like control for backpack management and crafting. Had to get a refund.

The Sons of the Forest is barely playable. No point in getting that one yet it seems.

I’d love to play a game that looks realistic, runs well, and is controller friendly. Any recommendations? How about Stranded Deep? Maybe the older The Forest is still worth it? What else?

    • Valheim
    • Grounded
    • The Long Dark
    • Subnautica games (lots of community layouts to choose from)
    • Planet Crafter
    • Stranded Deep (little controller tinkering)
    • Sunkenland
    • Smalland
    • Green Hell (needed lots of controller tinkering)
    • Project Zomboid (very steep learning curve)

how well does Smalland run on the deck these days? Most of what I’m seeing is low 20’s but those are posts from march

Highly recommend project zomboid. Controller friendly, runs well, and has some of the best mechanics for a survival game.

Also, steam workshop support with thousands of mods that really let you tailor the game to your liking.
