Did it just reset the brightness or something? As soon as the update restarted my steam deck things seemed to look much more vibrant. Trick or the mind or a real change?
Were you using any kind of plugins to adjust the screen settings? It’s possible that those got reset. Also check the Display options to see if Auto brightness is turned on. Perhaps it is and the screen is dimming automatically without you knowing?
Same problem. I have zero plugins, hadn’t touched the settings either before or after the update. Odd/dark coloring, an over sharpening effect, text is harder to read.
Changed the settings to be different brightness’s, turn off HDR, use native color, auto brightness off, night mode off, etc. etc. Nothing is changing. If I go to the steam menu, the colors in the game look normal for a split second. Go back into the game and they revert to this new weirdness.
It’s not a user error problem, something stupid is happening. It could certainly be a new setting that needs to be accounted for but I’ve yet to find it.
