Just got my LE OLED Deck.

I am an OLED fiend. Every TV in the house is an OLED, my Nintendo switch is an OLED, I absolutely love the screen technology.

Knowing how all of my current OLED screens are glossy, I was worried about the etched glass diminishing the value of the screen, especially with some of the videos and discussion happening.

I actually ordered a 512GB model just to be able to compare the two in case I didn’t like how the etched glass affected the color saturation etc.

Once I turned this thing on, all those worries went out the door. The screen is absolutely gorgeous. Sitting in my normally lit room it honestly looks like a glossy screen with how rich and vibrant the colors are. Viewing angles are perfect no matter where you look from, and nothing is getting washed out.

I don’t even need to see the 512GB model anymore truly.

For those worried about this, I wouldn’t be. This screen kicks ass and the etched glass is only going to benefit you in high light situations.
