Is anyone having audio issues wearing headphones? There’s an unbearable static noise on mine from the moment I restart, and even factory reset. I’ve tried every OS channel as well, tried different headphones and I’m sure they’re plugged in correctly.
On top of that, compared to original SD, sound is a complete downgrade both through headphones and front speakers. Ive heard Yotubers claim new one is, if not better, at least louder is what makes me think I may have got a lemon, since mine is neither.
A trade of sound quality for better screen would be a deal breaker for me but the static gives me hope I just got a bad unit, just not sure as to whether send it back or wait for an update to fix it.
Have the same issue. It’s my first Steam Deck and I’m liking it, but I’d probably return it for this reason alone. Apparently it’s an issue that’s been affecting some people since the original launched.
