Seems like it doesn’t like mesh setups . After disconnection all repeaters, Deck was able to connect to home network. Still can’t connect to iPhone hotspot though. Had no such problems with LCD deck, but at least now I’m able to login and use device

Might depend on whether your mesh is network is WiFi 6 compatible, some mesh networks have dual compatibility that have to be manually set as the single / dual band streams differ between the two standards.

My network isn’t a mesh. I have a second router as a wifi hotspot but the wifi on the primary router is disabled. Not a “repeater” type setup.

This really isn’t much different than any commercial setup where a router/switch does all the backend and hotspots are just providing remote connection to the router.

I’m unable to get my new OLED deck to connect to WiFi at all during setup. I have a mesh network (just router + 1 mesh node) and tried unplugging my single mesh node but still no luck. I plugged it in with an Ethernet adapter and that worked.

I’ve tried connecting to phone hotspot (no luck), restarting the device, and even reflashing the device without luck. Also unable to connect in desktop mode. Got an open support ticket so we’ll see.

This seems to be a firmware issue connecting to particular wifi 6 chipsets (like in my RT-AX86U Asus router).

    A few solutions:

    1. Connect to 2.4ghz
    2. Turn off 160ghz channel for wifi 6
    3. Change General -> Settings -> 24-hour clock to ON

Solutions 1 and 2 seem to maybe require a restart before working. I just tested solution 3 and it worked right away. So I’m going with that one right now.
